Lamesley Farm on Haggs Lane at Old Ravensworth, just south of the Team Valley in Gateshead, describes itself as Newcastle's only pick-your-own Christmas tree farm. Visitors walk the plantation to choose a Norway spruce or Nordmann fir in the field, or pick from trees already cut and prepared by staff, with stands and wreaths also on sale.

For 2026 the farm holds early access weekends on 14, 15, 21 and 22 November, from 9am to 3pm, before its official opening on Friday 27 November. A click and collect option lets customers reserve a tree online and skip the queue, and delivery is available.
