Analog is a vintage clothing shop on Alley 3 of the Grainger Market, spread across units 111 and 112, and run by Joe and Marc. The stock is curated rather than bulk-bought: Carhartt workwear, Stussy, rare graphic t-shirts, sportswear and vintage football shirts, sourced from suppliers around the world and picked over before anything reaches the rails. Prices are pitched to be wearable rather than collector-only, which is the main reason the shop has become a regular stop for students and younger shoppers working their way along the market's alleys. Sizing and condition vary by piece, as with any genuine second-hand rail, so the shop rewards a proper browse.

The pair have been trading in the market for around five years, and Analog is one of several units that have shifted the Grainger Market's clothing offer from cheap basics towards second-hand and vintage. That matters beyond fashion: reselling keeps garments in use and gives the Grade I listed hall a draw that cannot be replicated by a chain store on Northumberland Street. The shop is most easily found by entering from Clayton Street or Nun Street and walking down Alley 3, where it sits close to the market's butchers and greengrocers. Opening is Monday to Saturday, from ten in the morning until five.
