Junkyard Golf Club sits on Newgate Street in the heart of the city centre, a short walk from Grainger Market and Eldon Square. It takes the crazy golf idea and pushes it towards a night out, with three separate courses, named Bozo, Pablo and Gary, each built from reclaimed scrap, neon and salvaged oddments so that no two holes look alike. Players can take a single nine-hole round or an unlimited play option across all three courses, weaving between the obstacles under low, colourful lighting.

The venue leans on the combination of golf, cocktails and food, with a bar and street-food style snacks running through the courses, which makes it a popular choice for group celebrations, birthdays and larger get-togethers as well as a casual rainy-afternoon diversion. There are family and student offers alongside the standard rounds, and gift cards are available. Because it is entirely indoors and central, it is an easy option when the weather rules out anything outside; booking a tee time ahead is advisable at weekends and during busy periods.
