A Play, A Pie and A Pint: Making Way
John Maley's darkly comic new take on the vampire myth, served with a pie and a pint at Northern Stage.
About This Event
In John Maley's new play, scientists discover an elixir of youth: older people reap the benefits while younger people have their blood taken and must fight for their future. A widower receives the treatment and finds that eternal life carries a heavy cost for anyone who refuses to make way for the next generation. Produced by A Play, A Pie and A Pint at Oran Mor and co-presented with Northern Stage and Assembly Theatre, the show runs about 50 minutes with no interval and is recommended for ages 12+. Lunchtime performances run Tuesday to Thursday at 1pm, with Saturday shows at noon (BSL interpreted) and 4pm; several evening and Friday performances have already sold out. Vegan and gluten-free pies can be chosen when booking.
