The Advanced Fighting Centre
Family-run martial arts club on High Bridge teaching kickboxing, boxing, MMA and ninjutsu to adults, teens and children since 1993.
About The Advanced Fighting Centre
The Advanced Fighting Centre was founded in 1993 and has trained from its High Bridge premises, between Grey Street and the Bigg Market, since 2000. It is a family-run club led by owner and head coach John Atkin, with a small team of assistant coaches and a dedicated kids' head coach.
The timetable covers kickboxing, boxing, MMA and ninjutsu, with a members-only open mat. Younger members are well catered for, with Terrapins classes for small children, a Tigers and teens class, teen kickboxing and MMA, and a girls-only kickboxing class on Friday evenings. A paid taster session lets newcomers try a class before joining.
