About This Event
Live Theatre marks the 30th anniversary of Marie Jones's play with a reading by a cast of Live Theatre favourites. A Hollywood epic is being filmed in a small rural Irish town, and local extras Charlie Conlon and Jake Quinn get caught up in it, until a tragedy involving a local teenager changes everything. The two performers play every role between them in a comedy with a poignant undercurrent, exploring the gap between romantic ideas of Irishness and a harsher reality.
