About Tyne Grange
Tyne Grange is a specialist nursing home on Grainger Park Road, run by Exemplar Health Care and registered with the Care Quality Commission for up to 22 people. It provides nurse-led care for adults with complex needs, including brain injury, neurological conditions and mental health conditions, in small purpose-built units.
The home opened after Exemplar rebuilt the former Hillfield Nursing Home. Its most recent CQC assessment, published in April 2026, rated it Outstanding overall, with Outstanding ratings for caring, responsive and well-led. Referrals are usually made through health and social care professionals.
