Scream for Pizza (Quayside)
Quayside counter from the Newcastle pizza business that began as a van in 2014, which also runs the pizza kitchen at Freight Island.
About Scream for Pizza (Quayside)
Scream for Pizza began as a mobile pizza van in 2014 before opening a restaurant in Sandyford. In the city centre it has a counter at 31 Quayside, across the river from the Glasshouse, and runs the pizza kitchen at Freight Island on Newgate Street.
At Freight Island it serves New York-style pizza on chewy crusts or thin sourdough bases. Freight Island opens Thursday to Sunday only, so check opening times before visiting either site.
