Sachins
Long-established Punjabi restaurant on Forth Banks, a short walk from Central Station.
About Sachins
Sachins has served North Indian and Punjabi cooking on Forth Banks for more than forty years. Owner and head chef Bob Arora was a regular diner before taking over the restaurant in 2000, and the menu spans vegetarian, seafood, lamb and chicken dishes in the traditional sit-down style.
The dining room was refurbished for the restaurant's fortieth anniversary, with hand-drawn wall art, neon signs and ambient lighting. Its location, downhill from Central Station, makes it an easy choice for visitors arriving by train.
