About Royal Victoria Infirmary
The Royal Victoria Infirmary on Queen Victoria Road, beside Leazes Park, is one of the main hospitals of Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and sits on the same site as the Great North Children's Hospital.
The trust recruits volunteers for the RVI and its other hospitals, with current roles listed through the Newcastle Hospitals Charity. Volunteers commit to at least one fixed four-hour shift a week for six months and complete references and NHS checks; most roles are for over-18s.
