About Pigalo's at Louie's Liquor Store
Pigalo's started in North Shields in 2020 as an American burger restaurant and became known across Tyneside when it added Chicago deep dish pizza to its menu. In autumn 2025 it began serving in Newcastle city centre through a collaboration with Louie's Liquor Store, a blues-themed bar at the top of the Bigg Market.
The deep dish is a thick, cheese-heavy bake that takes time to cook. Serving times follow the bar's opening hours, so check Pigalo's or Louie's social channels before visiting.
