About Central Bean
Central Bean trades from Bealim House on Gallowgate, having moved from its earlier home in Time Central a short walk away, so older listings still carry the wrong address. Its own description is of serving the business hub, shoppers and everyone in between, which is a fair summary of Gallowgate: a cluster of offices, the back of the Eldon Square retail area and the approach to St James' Park all meet here.
Coffee is the focus, with breakfast and brunch alongside it including their breakfast pot, and the early weekday opening is the practical reason to know about it. Doors open at 7.30am Monday to Friday, making it one of only a handful of independents in the centre serving before 8am, with shorter Saturday hours and no Sunday trade at all. It behaves as a walk-in.
