About This Event
Bologna-formed trio Savana Funk bring their high-energy fusion of funk, rock, blues and African influences to the Ouseburn, with groove as the common thread throughout. Since forming in 2015 they've played major festivals including Firenze Rocks and Sziget, and their 2026 album Behind The Eyes was produced by Tommaso Colliva. Support comes from Polly Gone Wrong, a three-piece blending folk and blues with close harmonies, and Gateshead fingerstyle guitarist Oliver Bell, whose playing nods to John Fahey and Nick Drake. The Venue Space is fully wheelchair accessible.
