About This Event
The Samling Academy Singers, young classical singers from state secondary schools and universities across the North East, perform a one-hour concert in Sage Two. Selected by audition and coached by Caroline Dowdle of the Royal Opera and Ballet alongside other vocal specialists, the singers present a varied programme from baroque to contemporary, accompanied by pianists Jonathan Ware, Jo Ramadan, George Ireland, Sid Ramchander and Yihan Zhao. There is no interval, and under-14s must be accompanied by an adult.
