About This Event

Tyneside Cinema pairs Guillermo del Toro's 2006 dark fantasy with a multi-course Spanish meal. Dinner starts at 6pm with a welcome drink, a starter of baguette with paprika and garlic butter and Padron peppers, three sharing tapas dishes including tortilla, meatballs and paella (with a vegetarian menu available), and orange and polenta cake, before the film screens at 7:30pm. Set in Spain in 1944, the film follows Ofelia, who discovers a labyrinth and a faun near her cruel stepfather's military outpost. It is rated 15 and shown in Spanish with subtitles. Complimentary and membership free tickets are not valid for this event.
