Newcastle Red Bulls v Castres Olympique
Newcastle Red Bulls host French side Castres Olympique at Kingston Park in Round 2 of the EPCR Challenge Cup.
About This Event
Newcastle Red Bulls welcome Top 14 side Castres Olympique to Kingston Park for a European night under the lights, in Round 2 of the EPCR Challenge Cup. The French visitors provide a stiff test for Stephen Jones's side as they chase progress out of a pool that also features Benetton, Lyon, the Sharks and the Scarlets. Kingston Park, in the north of the city, is the long-standing home of Newcastle's professional rugby union club and offers an atmospheric setting for a Friday evening kick-off. European matches typically draw a strong travelling and local following. Tickets are sold through the club. The fixture is also scheduled for broadcast across EPCR's streaming and television partners.
