About This Event
The Newcastle Allotment & Garden Festival transforms Exhibition Park into a hub of creativity and connection with nature for one day each September. Run by Newcastle City Council, this free festival brings together allotment holders, gardeners, families and community groups to celebrate growing, sustainability and wellbeing in the heart of the city. Expect a wide range of produce and plants on display and for sale, alongside gardening workshops, talks, wellbeing sessions, live music and plenty of good food. It is a relaxed, welcoming day out for green-fingered visitors and curious families alike, set in one of Newcastle's best-loved parks on the edge of the Town Moor.
