About This Event

The National Centre for Children's Books stages its own festive panto this winter, a playful reworking of the Little Red Riding Hood story reimagined around a heroine who loves nothing more than her books. Expect joyful wordplay, slapstick silliness and a knowing jumble of familiar fairy tales, all delivered with plenty of audience participation. Pitched squarely at families, the show runs across the whole festive period at the venue's restored Victorian mill home in the Ouseburn Valley. It makes a natural pairing with a wider visit to Seven Stories, where free galleries and daily storytimes continue alongside the ticketed panto. Tickets are a single price per person and can be booked in advance through the Seven Stories box office, with specific performance times listed against each date.
