About This Event

Eliot Smith Dance marks its fifteenth anniversary with a special evening at Alphabetti Theatre, bringing together the company's past and present in a single programme. The centrepiece is the premiere of HUNTER, a new solo that sees founder Eliot Smith return to the stage as a performer for the first time in five years. The new work draws on the shipyard heritage of Wallsend and Smith's ongoing creative ties to the Taylor Centre for Dance Education in New York, home of the Paul Taylor Dance Company. The result is a personal, place-rooted piece that reflects on origins, labour and homecoming. Recommended for ages twelve and over, this is a single performance rather than a run, so advance booking is advised. Tickets are available directly from Alphabetti Theatre.
