Swiss-British jazz group MoonMot and avant-rock jazz band Snackwall play Cobalt's seated Fresh Thursday night, with an optional plant-based dinner.
About This Event
MoonMot formed at Jazzwerkstatt Bern in 2017, played the London Jazz Festival that same year and have since toured Europe and India, releasing albums on Enja and Unit Records. Jazzwise called them a mischievous yet accomplished mix of Swiss and British elements. They share the bill with Snackwall, a new avant-rock jazz group led by North East-born trumpeter Jack Banjo Courtney (Opus Kink, seed., New Movement Ensemble). Fresh Thursday pairs new music with a home-cooked plant-based meal in an intimate, seated setting. Doors are at 7pm, dinner is around 8pm (guaranteed only with an advance food ticket, capped at 60) and the music aims to finish by about 10:15pm.
